I discovered that you can “look” like anything you want. You can also beg, borrow, and steal to get stuff. And that money is just a tool. I began to see that success came from an internal place that no one could see or determine but you. At night when we lay our head on the pillow and prepare to go to bed that is when the truth comes out. You are faced with your choices, your words, your thoughts and no matter how you “look,” how big the house and bed is that you are in, or if you could buy another one tomorrow, we are all faced with the same thoughts. Did I do enough? Am I doing what I love? Am I happy? Is this the life I really want to live?
At the root of the vulnerability movement is the message that people should come out of the need for protection, perfection, and fear and trust yourself and even better other people with the truth. The truth about what's really going on, what really happened, and what you really need. None of that Waspy, "We're fine," BS but real, honest, and empowering truth....
No matter how successful you are most of us have hit a brick wall with our business or personal growth and had to start over or make some major adjustments! I hit my wall in July and had to do some major overhauling in both areas! (This conjures up Destiny's Child "Survivor" song but I'll save that for Karaoke.....
